| James Lipton's Questions | Views: 251 |
I’ve debated on whether I should post this but decided life was too short to wonder. I know my experience with cancer is similar to many of yours so I know you’ll understand this.
Cancer has a way of reorganizing your priorities, turning your world upside down, and narrowing your concerns down to the things that are most precious to you.
For me, James Lipton’s questions is one of the things that remind me of those early days when I first received THE diagnosis that would turn my life upside down. They help me remember what’s important, what’s not, and what I can just let go of.
So here are his questions…and my answers:
What is your favorite word: relentless
What is your least favorite word: Cancer
What turns you on creatively, spiritually, emotionally: Compassion, optimism, stoicism
What turns you off: Pessimism, gossip, pettiness
What is your favorite curse word: Shit
What noise or sound do you love: Pure, unadulterated laughter that comes from the gut and is pure joy
What noise or sound do you hate: Silence
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt: Commercial shopper for a clothing store
What profession would you not like to do: Funeral director
If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates: I’m so proud of you.

Wow! Those questions really make you think. Thanks for posting them. I’ll work on them after Thanksgiving.
I love James Lipton. What a wonderful concept. Thank you for sharing, I will pass this along!
