I hope you all are doing well…every one of you reading this entry and fighting this ugly disease.
My hopes and dreams for you…Stay strong in this fight. Focus on the joy and blessings in your life. On treatment days/doctor’s visits, do something that will bring a smile to your face and brighten up your day. For me, it’s flowers. I do my best to have at least a vase or two of fresh flowers in my living room and bedroom. They always make me smile, even when the news is not so good or I’m feeling like something you’ve scraped off the bottom of your shoe.
Do NOT let discouragement or fear rob you of your hope. I cling to God, sometimes desperately, when I’m feeling despair trying to settle on me like a heavy blanket. I also focus on the fact that His perfect love leaves no room for fear, and because He loves me, I have no reason to fear. He’s in control of my destiny.
